White Villas Resort
We remain open and have used this quiet time to improve rooms and facilities. We offer special Promotions when you book directly with us. And we help build the local community with our income. Still no Covid-19 cases reported on Siquijor Island (as of early June). We carefully implement regulations and guidelines against the virus.
We are a small, peaceful resort on Solangon Beach with a dozen rooms good for couples, singles, families and small groups. Easy access to the rest of the island. We are only 15 minutes from Siquijor Town ferry terminal with free pick up or drop off.
We carefully implement government regulations and international guidelines on Covid-19. So far no reported Covid-19 cases on Siquijor Island and the local government carefully screens all arrivals. We use thermometer guns to check guests and we provide face masks and hand sanitiser.
Our restaurant by the sea is open 7am-9pm and we have free wifi, swimming pool, beach lounging, free kayaks, motorbike rental (remember drivers license), and arrange island tours. We give special PROMOTIONS when guests book directly with us, as we/you avoid commission to the large online travel agencies.
The island's road network is very good and there is much to do and see: waterfalls, cliff jumping, caves, beaches, historic buildings, sky diving, and much more. Scuba diving and snorkelling is world class with dive shops just down the road.
And don't miss our late afternoon sunset beach bar with the often spectacular sunset. Our own beach is not great for swimming but there are good swimming beaches nearby. Or take our free kayaks at high tide and paddle out to the edge of the reef to swim and snorkel in clear water.
The high season was traditionally December-June. The July-November monsoon season is now also popular. Can be rainy and windy at times with (harmless) sea grass on the beach.
Siquijor Island has banned plastic bags. We minimise single use plastics, recycle waste, make compost, and encourage more responsible tourism. We have full generator back-up and our own pure groundwater supply from one of our organic farms.Yours sincerely, Edna Mae & Jens Peter
