Online ferry schedules, booking and buying tickets?
It is difficult to find information and to book ferries online, except for Oceanjet selling tickets online via third party agents online. Other tickets are sold at the port on the day of travel. Feel free to contact us for specific ferry times. We can help buy tickets when leaving the resort (for a small fee).

Dive & snorkel?
Siquijor diving and snorkelling is not (yet) well known but is very, very good. Turtles are common and divers regularly see sharks, rays, and larger pelagics. Corals are still in good condition in many places and the area is good for macro-photography. There are several dive shops near White Villas Resort.

Swimming?
The water is shallow a long way out and our Solangon beach is not very good for swimming. But you can take the free kayaks around high tide out to the edge of the reef for swimming and snorkelling in clear water with some corals. And there are good swimming beaches nearby (e.g. Paliton Beach).

The beach?
Our Solangon beach is the longest white sand beach on Siquijor Island with great sunsets and not crowded. Around July-November the southwest onshore winds carry seagrass and plastic on to the beach. We clean the beach often unless the winds are strong.

Swimming pool?
We have a small swimming pool with a toddler/child pool. The pool is for our own guests only with pool rules clearly posted.

Cleaning of rooms?
Daily cleaning unless you ask for less. Careful cleaning between guests including airing of rooms and at least a 4 hour gap between old and new guests.

Clean property?
We work hard to keep the resort, rooms, pool and beach clean and tidy. During the July-November monsoon season the onshore winds carry sea grass and plastic. We clean our beach section regularly, and sometimes guests volunteer to help out and do their bit for the local environment :-)

Massage services?
Suspended at the moment due to Covid-19. Otherwise we arrange massage by qualified masseuses in the room or by the beach. PHP 500/hour. Advance booking. The traditional deep tissue 'hilot' massage is popular (good for sore, painful muscles).

Sometimes there is live music or karaoke in the neighbourhood until midnight latest, as well as roosters (common in the Philippines).

Nudity and dress code?
The law does not permit nudity in public areas. Swimsuits are required on beaches and swimming areas and must be worn under other clothes in public places. Please respect this.

We are working towards it.
