We offer to waive cancellation fees in force majeure situations, when guests cannot arrive due to flight and ferry cancellations caused by weather conditions, or due to medical emergencies, and this is well documented by the guests. At the same time we suggest that guests/travelers consider taking out travel insurance as/if needed, and explore the options for having a Force Majeure clause in their insurance. May help some to travel with more peace of mind. For the hotel it is very difficult to access such type of insurance.
