Please drive carefully especially near villages and schools. And do get back in time for our late afternoon sunset beach bar and the often spectacular sunset.

  • Cambugahay Falls

    Address:
Cambugahay Falls, Lazi, Siquijor, Philippines .

Cambugahay waterfalls is a favourite stop on island tours, with water year round. Popular for swimming and jumping in designated areas.

  • Salagdoong cliff jumping

    Address:
Salagdoong Beach, Maria, Siquijor, Philippines .

Salagdoong is another popular destination on tours around Siquijor Island. There is a nice beach and it is possible to jump into the blue sea from rocks/platforms up to 10 meters above sea level. Check that it is not very low tide before going. Fun for those who dare!

  • Tulapos Marine Sanctuary

    Address:
Tulapos Marine Sanctuary, Siquijor Circumferential Road, Enrique Villanueva, Siquijor, Philippines .

Tulapos Sanctuary offers fantastic snorkeling with a very good chance to see a large school of young barracudas, turtles and black tip reef sharks (we have been there three times with our teenage daughters and been lucky every time with morning snorkeling around 9-10am). Gear can be rented at the sanctuary. Only a short boat ride from the beach. You pay for everything but prices are very reasonable. Tulapos Sanctuary is on the northeastern side of the island 45-60 minutes drive from White Villas Resort. Can easily be part of a tour around the island. Highly recommended.

  • Balete Tree & Fish Foot Massage

    Address:
Century Old Balete Tree, Siquijor Circumferential Road, Lazi, Siquijor, Philippines .

One of the regular stops on our island tours is the giant century old balete (banyan) tree along the national road towards Lazi for refreshments and a fish foot massage. Good fun for kids (and ticklish, childish adults). The tree is several centuries old and home to spirits and witches, if you believe...

  • Dive & Snorkel Siquijor

    Address:
    San Juan, Siquijor, Philippines .

Siquijor diving and snorkeling is world-class. We can help arrange with a dive shop or you can go directly to dive shops near White Villas Resort. Corals are still in good condition with diverse marine life and good chances of seeing for example turtles. Please take care not to touch or damage the corals. You are not allowed to collect or catch any marine life in the sanctuaries.

For snorkelers there are nearby sanctuaries in Maite, Tubod and Paliton. We highly recommend Tulapos Marine Sanctuary on the northeastern side of the island. Every time we have visited we have seen a large school of young barracuda, several turtles, and reef sharks.

  • Apo Island day tours

    Address:
    Apo Island, Dauin, Philippines .

Let us know if you are interested in a day-tour to Apo Island to dive or snorkel, and we will help arrange. Apo Island is well-known for its turtles, but there are also good chances of seeing turtles when diving and snorkeling around Siquijor.

  • Butterfly Sanctuary

    Address:
Butterfly Sanctuary, Lazi, Siquijor, Philippines .

Siquijor is home to beautiful butterflies. Here you can see them in different stages of their lifecycle. This is a small privately run sanctuary well worth a visit and support.

  • Lugnason Waterfall

    Address:
Lugnason Falls, San Juan, Siquijor, Philippines .

Lugnason waterfall is best visited during the rainy season (around September-December) when it has enough water. It is possible to jump under careful supervision by the local attendants. It is quite a jump - for the more courageous!

  • Lazi Convent and Church

    Address:
Lazi Church, Lazi, Siquijor, Philippines .

These old buildings have recently been renovated and are well worth a quick visit. Lazi Convent (with museum)  is a historical landmark of national significance. Completed in 1891 it is the largest in the Asian region and the oldest in the Philippines. It was built under the supervision of Augustinian monks, with coral stones and local hardwood. In front of the convent is San Isidro Labrador Church from 1885, beautiful inside.
