Island Tours & Attractions

  • ISLAND TOURS

    Address:
    White Vilas Resort .

Book a tour or rent a motorbike

We offer day tours from PHP 1,250-2,500/group by tricycle or car. Easy to arrange at the resort (no need for advance booking). Visit waterfalls, beaches, caves, historic buildings and much more. We also arrange 1-2 days dolphin watching tours to Bais on Negros Island.

Motorbike rental costs PHP 400/day. Please bring your driving license (required). The road network is good and it is fun/easy to drive around. Please drive carefully especially around villages and schools. In terms distances it is 2 hours/80 km around the island without stops, but who would not want to stop :-)

And do get back in time for our late afternoon sunset beach bar. The sunsets are often spectacular.

  • Cambugahay Falls

    Address:
Cambugahay Falls, Lazi, Siquijor, Philippines .

Cambugahay waterfalls is a favourite stop on our island tours. Pretty falls in sections-steps with water year round. Popular for swimming and jumping in designated areas.

  • Salagdoong cliff jumping

    Address:
Salagdoong Beach, Maria, Siquijor, Philippines .

Salagdoong is another popular destination on tours around Siquijor Island. There is a nice beach and it is possible to jump into the blue sea from rocks/platforms up to 10 meters above sea level. Check that it is not very low tide before going. Fun for those who dare!

  • Tulapos Marine Sanctuary

    Address:
Tulapos Marine Sanctuary, Siquijor Circumferential Road, Enrique Villanueva, Siquijor, Philippines .

Tulapos Sanctuary offers fantastic snorkeling with a very good chance to see a large school of young barracudas, turtles and black tip reef sharks (we have been there three times with our teenage daughters and been lucky every time with morning snorkeling around 9-10am). Gear can be rented at the sanctuary. Only a short boat ride from the beach. You pay for everything but prices are very reasonable. Tulapos Sanctuary is on the northeastern side of the island 45-60 minutes drive from White Villas Resort. Can easily be part of a tour around the island. Highly recommended.

  • Balete Tree & Fish Foot Massage

    Address:
Century Old Balete Tree, Siquijor Circumferential Road, Lazi, Siquijor, Philippines .

One of the regular stops on our island tours is the giant century old balete (banyan) tree along the national road towards Lazi for refreshments and a fish foot massage. Good fun for kids (and ticklish, childish adults). The tree is several centuries old and home to spirits and witches, if you believe...

  • Dive & Snorkel Siquijor

    Address:
    San Juan, Siquijor, Philippines .

Siquijor diving and snorkeling is world-class. There are dive shops close to White Villas Resort where you can rent snorkeling gear and marine sanctuaries nearby at Maite, Paliton, and Tubod. Corals are still in good condition with diverse marine life and good chances of seeing for example turtles. Please take care not to touch or damage the corals. You are not allowed to collect or catch any marine life in the sanctuaries.

  • Apo Island day tours

    Address:
    Apo Island, Dauin, Philippines .

Let us know if you are interested in a day-tour to Apo Island to dive or snorkel, and we will connect you to one of the dive shops. Apo Island is well-know for its turtles, but there are also very good chances to see turtles when diving around Siquijor.

  • Butterfly Sanctuary

    Address:
Butterfly Sanctuary, Lazi, Siquijor, Philippines .

Siquijor is home to beautiful butterflies. Here you can see them in different stages of their lifecycle. This is a small privately run sanctuary well worth a visit and support.

  • Lugnason Waterfall

    Address:
Lugnason Falls, San Juan, Siquijor, Philippines .

Lugnason waterfall is best visited during the rainy season (around September-December) when it has enough water. It is possible to jump under careful supervision by the local attendants. It is quite a jump - for the more courageous!

  • Lazi Convent and Church

    Address:
Lazi Church, Lazi, Siquijor, Philippines .

These old buildings have recently been renovated and are well worth a quick visit. Lazi Convent (with museum)  is a historical landmark of national significance. Completed in 1891 it is the largest in the Asian region and the oldest in the Philippines. It was built under the supervision of Augustinian monks, with coral stones and local hardwood. In front of the convent is San Isidro Labrador Church from 1885, beautiful inside.

  • Faith Healers

    Address:
    San Antonio, Siquijor, Philippines .

Siquijor Island is known as the 'healing island' and famous for its faith healers (bolo-bolo) many of who reside around San Antonio town.

If you want a 'hilot' massage this can also be arranged at White Villas Resort on a sun bed by the beach/pool or in your room.

  • Bais dolphin watching

    Address:
WHITE SANDBAR AND DOLPHIN WATCHING TOURS, Bais, Negros Oriental, Philippines .

We help organize whale watching tours to Bais City on Negros Island, 1.5 hours drive north of Dumaguete. You may be able to combine it with a visit to Manjuyod white sand bar depending on the high/low tide situation. Expect to spend 1-2 days on a tour from White Villas Resort and back again.

Also, keep an eye out for a large pod of dolphins on the Siquijor-Dumaguete ferries around half way across. We often spot them.

  • White Villas sunsets

    Address:

White Villas Resort, San Juan, Siquijor, Philippines .

Kayaking our Solangon beach around high tide is a popular activity. We offer free kayaks, small bankas (traditional outrigger boats) and a paddle board. A few hundred meters in front of the resort and you can swim and snorkel in clear water with some corals and fish.
