GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
By placing a booking with us (henceforth 'the Hotel') you and your booking party (henceforth 'the Guest') agree to the terms and conditions set-out below and to abide by these terms and conditions at all times.
Guests must present proper IDs on arrival of which the Hotel makes a copy as required in compliance with local laws and regulations. The lead Guest must be at least 18 (eighteen) years of age. If other Guests are minors below 18 years of age and the relationship with the lead Guest is unclear, the Hotel reserves the right to clarify the relationship and if any concerns arise out of this to follow up on these concerns as deemed necessary.
Where the person making the booking is different to the lead Guest taking up the occupation, the person making the booking can be held responsible for cancellation, non-arrival or damages. All Guests agree to respect the resort rules and policies, including the privacy and peace of all other staying guests, neighbours, the public, and the owners at all times. By placing a booking all Guests automatically agree to not engage in any illicit activity on the property.
Only the lead Guest and other accompanying guests named in the booking party are allowed to use the Hotel property and its facilities; third party visitors require separate admission.
The Hotel reserves the right to cancel a booking with immediate effect if a Guest is not honouring these terms and conditions.
PAYMENTS
A booking must be paid in advance. When booking through online travel agencies (Agoda, Booking.com, etc.) or through the Hotel website, advance payment is automatically made.
The Hotel restaurant accepts cash and credit cards.
CANCELLATION POLICY
When booking directly with the Hotel:
- Cancellation more than 7 (seven) days in advance of arrival date = Full refund (less any bank or PayPal transfer fees)
- Cancellation within 7 (seven) days of arrival date = 1st night charge
- Cancellation within 24hrs or less of arrival date or no-show = No refund.
When booking through online travel agencies (Agoda, Booking.com, etc.) please refer to the cancellation policy agreed and posted with them. Any cancellation must also be made through them.
Guests are generally advised to take out travel insurance to help cover any losses they may incur as a result of travel disruptions to and from the Hotel, for which the Hotel is not responsible.
In the rare event that the Hotel needs to cancel a booking, please be aware that the Hotel cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond our control and that our liability is limited to the refund of any payment already made. The Hotel may cancel the accommodation contract in the following cases:
(1)When the Guest is deemed liable to conduct or has conducted him/herself in a manner that would contravene the laws or act against the public order and good morals in regard to the accommodation
(2)When the Guest seeking accommodation is carrying an infectious disease
(3)When violent demands, actions or burdens that exceed the scope of reasonable requests are made by the Guest
(4)When the Hotel is unable to provide accommodation due to natural calamities and/or other causes of force majeure
(5)When the Guest is liable to conduct him/herself in a manner that would cause serious annoyance to other guests or behaves in such manner
(6)When the Guest does not observe prohibited actions such as smoking in the room and other prohibitions stipulated by the Hotel to prevent fire
(7)When the Guest is an Organized Crime Group, a member of such group, or related to such group.
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Check-in after 3:00pm; check-out by 11:00 am latest on day of departure. Early check-in and late check-out is subject to availability and carries an extra charge.
WI-FI
The Guest accepts to use the Hotel's internet access fairly and appropriately. The Hotel's internet is neither intended nor suited for heavy media streaming, online gaming, extensive downloads / uploads or any illegal activity.
NON-SMOKING PROPERTY
Smoking is not allowed inside the rooms, on the balconies and terraces, or in the restaurant area. Smoking is only allowed outside in the designated area by the beach and in accordance with local regulations. Please note that San Juan municipality upholds a 'no smoking' policy in all public areas.
The Hotel imposes a penalty fee of PHP5,000 (five thousand pesos) for violating of its on-site smoking policy.
LIABILITY OF HOTEL
The Hotel shall compensate the Guest for any damage if the Hotel has caused such damage to the Guest in the course of its performance of, or by its non-fulfillment of, the accommodation contract. This provision shall not apply in the event that such damage has been caused by reason(s) not attributable to the Hotel.
LIABILITY OF GUEST
The Guest shall compensate the Hotel for damage caused through the intention or negligence of the Guest and his/her party.
DAMAGES & LOST PROPERTY
The Hotel reserves the right to charge the lead Guest for any damages caused through the course of a booking by any member of his/her party. This includes breakages, spillages, stains, damage to furniture or fixtures and fittings. Any accidental damages should be reported as soon as possible by the Guest to the Hotel in order to minimize the damage and associated costs. Lost keys incur a replacement charge.
Guests are responsible for the safe keeping of all their personal items for the duration of their stay. Any lost property left behind by guests, if discovered and found by the Hotel, will be held for a period of 1 (one) month. The Hotel accepts no responsibility for replacing lost items and encourage guests to ensure that they have all their belongings before checking-out. The Hotel may offer to post lost items at the cost of the Guest, if the Guest is unable to arrange for the item to be collected from the Hotel.
LAUNDRY SERVICES
The Hotel is not responsible for any damage to clothes as a result of its laundry services.
FOOD & DRINKS
Outside food and drinks are not allowed to be consumed within the Hotel property, unless otherwise explicitly agreed with the Hotel.
PETS
The Hotel does not accept pets.
PARKING
The Hotel provides free on-site parking. Guests accept that they park their vehicles on-site (or off-site) at their own risk.
PERSONAL DETAILS & PRIVACY
The Hotel is legally required to keep a register of all Guests. This includes a copy of passport/ID card for all Guests (not only the lead Guest) showing full name and nationality, ID number, place of issue, validity and photo. These records are kept in accordance with governing laws and regulations.
OTHER PROVISIONS
The Guest shall observe regulations established by the Hotel and posted on the Hotel premises, such as – but not limited to – swimming pool regulations, room and restaurant policies.
The Hotel reserves the right to cancel any booking without compensation or refund if the above terms and conditions are breached by the Guest and/or his/her party.
