Read MoreWe are a small, peaceful beach resort close to cafés, restaurants, minimarts, ATMs, and dive shops. We offer good and free wi-fi (Starlink), a restaurant by the beach, a small swimming pool with a kids pool, and a sunset beach bar. We rent out scooters / motorbikes (please bring a driving license) and arrange island tours by van, tricycle, or tuk-tuk.
Our beach is good for relaxing, sunbathing, walking/jogging, kayaking around high tide, and the sunsets are often beautiful. The beach is not good for swimming as it is shallow a long way out, but there are good and busy swimming beaches nearby. Our beach is more quiet.
December-June is traditionally high season although nowadays we are full year round as Siquijor Island is getting popular. There is much to see and do around the island with white sand beaches, waterfalls, caves, world-class diving and snorkeling, kite surfing, and even skydiving. It is a fun to tour, safe, family-friendly, and hospitable island. You can easily spend several days here, or more.
Check-in from 3pm and check-out by 11am. Guests who arrive earlier are welcome to wait in the resort and use facilities, leave luggage safely if touring around, or visit our new Café-Gallery and get a discount on coffees and teas (just present the hotel booking confirmation to the barista). The gallery displays traditional Filipino artefacts from various ethnic groups, a bit like in a museum. A good place to sit quietly and work, read, exchange a book, play a board game, and enjoy newly roasted quality coffee.
We are 15 minutes / 10km from Siquijor Port and 40 minutes / 20km from Larena Port. Tricycles/taxis are always available at the ports. We offer a pick-up and drop-off service for a fee. For pick-up please call/WhatsApp +63 908 1656 277 (or landline 0355 426 080) a couple of days in advance to book and again when boarding the ferry to reconfirm the time, as boats can be delayed. We have full generator back up and clean/safe groundwater supply from our upland deep well.
Free cancellation until 7 days before arrival, after which we charge one night. For “no show” we charge the full stay.

See AllCambugahay Falls Cambugahay waterfalls is a favourite stop on island tours, with water year round. Popular for swimming and jumping in designated areas.Sunsets Enjoy the often beautiful late afternoon sunset, especially from November onwards, and don't miss the 4-8pm sunset beach bar happy hours...ISLAND TOURS Book a tour by car or rent a scooter/motorbike We offer scooter/motorbike rental and day tours by van or tuk-tuk. Easy to arrange when at the resort. Visit waterfalls, beaches, snorkeling sites, caves, historic buildings and more. For motorbike rental please bring driving license. The island road network is good. Please drive carefully especially near villages and schools. And do get back in time for the late afternoon beach bar and the often spectacular sunsets.Dive & Snorkel Siquijor Siquijor diving and snorkeling is world-class and there are now many dive shops in our area.Kayaking Guests can take our kayaks out around high tide. About 1km from the shore, by the edge of the reef, we often spot turtles coming up to the surface to breathe. It is also possible to paddle to neighboring beaches.Tulapos Marine Sanctuary Tulapos Sanctuary on the northeastern side of Siquijor Island offers fantastic snorkeling with a very good chance to see a large school of young barracudas, turtles and black tip reef sharks. Gear can be rented at the sanctuary and prices are very reasonable.Salagdoong cliff jumping Salagdoong has a nice beach good for swimming and it is possible to jump into the blue sea from platforms up to 10 meters above sea level when the tide is high enough. Check that it is not very low tide before going. Fun for those who dare!Apo Island tours Many dive shops offer snorkel and dive day tours to Apo, and we can help guide guests to nearby dive shops. Siquijor Island also has many turtles – we often see them when we kayak out to the edge of the reef by White Vilas Resort.Balete Tree & Fish Foot Massage The old giant balete (banyan) tree along the national road in the southern part of the island is a regular stops on island tours. The fish foot massage is good fun for both young and old. The balete tree is centuries old, and home to spirits and witches if you believe...Lazi Convent and Church These old buildings have recently been renovated and are well worth a quick visit. Lazi Convent (with museum) is a historical landmark of national significance. Completed in 1891 it is the largest in the Asian region and the oldest in the Philippines. It was built under the supervision of Augustinian monks, with coral stones and local hardwood. In front of the convent is San Isidro Labrador Church from 1885, beautiful inside.Lugnason Waterfall Lugnason waterfall is best visited around the rainy season (September-November) when it has plenty of water. It is possible to jump under careful supervision by the local attendants. It is quite a jump - for the more courageous!Butterfly Sanctuary Siquijor is home to beautiful butterflies. Here you can see them in different stages of their lifecycle. This is a small privately run sanctuary well worth a visit and support.Faith Healers Siquijor Island is known as the 'healing island' and famous for its faith healers.Bais dolphin watching We can help arrange whale watching tours to Bais City on Negros Island. Needs a couple of days.
